Cravings

Some say that this is one of the better buffets to hit up. I enjoy it because here you don't have to peel your own shrimp it is already done for you. As long as everyone survives the Bite show and the festivities following Cravings will be the location for Tuesday Breakfast/Lunch. This place I think has the best variety. Nothing like a slice of pizza, pancakes, bacon, eggs, and some shrimp on the side for breakfast. Sorry J no soft serve machine here, but a decent dessert area. Less than 3 weeks!

Bite

The plan is to see Bite while we are out there. I will be looking into tickets this week/weekend. This is an erotic, Rock and Roll review about Vampires. Hot Rock, Fosse Jazz, high energy Hip Hop, superhuman stunts and sensual nibbling told through a gothic story of classic Rock and Roll songs. Easy J this is a topless show, you may be seated a few rows away from me, i don't need any accidents. This is at the stratosphere, we can walk down there a little early and check that hotel out. Ive never been there before. The show starts at 10:30pm.

Delightfully Tacky, Yet Unrefined

The fine Hooters Casino. This place is a must visit. The plan to his this place up for dinner on Day 2. The only problem with this place is its all the way at the end of the strip which is a decent walk. Throw some beverages in our hands and I think well make it. Ive walked to this place quit a few times and have gotten there a few different ways. One time we actually walked the strip there. Another time J and I walked through an employee parking garage and out to some side street to get there. The last time I was there we went to Ellis Island Casino and then down some side streets until we ended up at Hooters. The restaurant is just like any other one, except they take a picture with you and try to sell it to you later on. A souvenir I'm sure J will buy. The casino itself is loud and bright. I only play the craps table here. Have had decent luck so I always try to play a couple rolls of the dice. Ask J about their Players Club. I believe I was at the craps table for 2 hours cleaning up, while he was signing up and waiting to get his free spin on the giant slot machine. Good times will be had here for sure.

Cocktails......Cocktails

After we stuff ourselves to the gills at the buffet it will be time for some sports gambling again. This will give me a chance to break down the days baseball games, and to start betting some ponies. The IP sportsbook is good for the horses. TVs at every station and a stadium style seating. I like the waitresses here too. Last year we cleaned up here on a horse named Sister Dolores that went off at 20:1

Paradise Garden Buffet

Hopefully after day 1 there will not be any casualties. The initial plan is to grab breakfast at the Garden Buffet at the Flamingo. I usually visit this place once a trip, and its pretty good. Nothing beats the view of the Garden while trying to sober up and rehydrate after a day of boozin'. Last time I ate here with J we were lucky enough to have a hillbilly family seated next to us. The guy wanted to hold a conversation with us, but I was not interested. I was just hoping he didn't catch J awkwardly gawking at his daughter. She was pretty good looking from what i remember, maybe 19 or 20 though. I also recall J coming back from the buffet with a sundae at about 9:30 in the morning.

Vinnie Favorito

After a day of sports gambling and table games, and my guess is some slot play by all as well, the plan is to hit the Flamingo to see Vinnie Favorito. I've never seen him, but have read some reviews and it sounds like a good time. According to most he likes to heckle the crowd, which is always good. We'll make sure to get tickets for the front so, I'm sure we will be thrown into the show with our crowd. I was hoping to catch Bobby Slayton at the Hooters Casino, but it seems he has finished his time there and isn't doing stand-up while we are out there.

Blackjack

I will sit down and play blackjack every now and then. I don't believe Ive played the last couple times out to Vegas though. Blackjack is a little tricky because depending on your position at the table your relying on other people to play a certain way in order to beat the house. Unless anyone going has an extra 6hrs a day until we leave and would like to learn to count cards I don't see much blackjack being played on this trip. I usually end up like Chevy Chase in Vegas Vacation. Ill get 20 the dealer gets 21. Joe recommends playing with Art over at the Casino Royale. I think the last time I played was at TI 2 years ago. You can find me at Craps or Pai Gow.

New Shooter Coming Out

Ahhhhhhh the game of craps. I was a craps virgin up until a couple of years ago. I was originally intimidated by all the action going on all at once, but once i was taught the game its one that I play whenever I can. I have my own method of madness to playing. Hopefully some will pick up the dice with me on this trip. My favorite places to roll are IP, Bill's, and Hooters. Ive played at TI before too, and will play there if others are up for it. I've rolled at Flamingo once, no particular reason I haven't played again there, just not a fan of their craps tables.
